Terms of Use

The terms, in plain language.

Effective 6 June 2026 · governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines

1 Agreement

By creating an fID or using FIDNT, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. These Terms work alongside our Privacy and Consent commitments.

2 What FIDNT is

FIDNT is a non-custodial identity rail and a beneficiary program of the Indigenous Sovereign Estate Trust. It issues signed proofs and receipts. It does not pool, hold, or move your money, and it keeps no identity document it does not need. You remain the controller of your own record.

3 Your fID and account

  • You control your keys. Keep them safe — they are how you prove it's you.
  • You are responsible for activity under your fID.
  • Give accurate information, and don't impersonate anyone.

4 Consent and your data

Consent in FIDNT is granular, time-boxed, and revocable, with a signed receipt. We process personal data lawfully under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). See how consent works and our privacy posture.

5 Acceptable use

  • Use FIDNT lawfully and as intended.
  • Don't attempt to break, bypass, or probe the security.
  • Don't misrepresent a proof, receipt, or your identity.
  • Don't use the service to harm others or violate their rights.

6 Fees

FIDNT is free for individuals. Where a buyer pays for a use of your data, the buyer pays you directly and FIDNT issues a signed receipt; any administrative fee is invoiced separately. No money flows through FIDNT.

7 No financial, legal, or tax advice

FIDNT's pages explain our model in plain language and may include illustrative figures. They are not financial, legal, or tax advice. Confirm anything that matters with a qualified professional.

8 Intellectual property

The FIDNT name, marks, and materials are protected. FIDNT operates under charter from the Indigenous Sovereign Protocol. Using the service grants you no ownership of our marks or materials.

9 Third parties

Integrators (banks, apps, services) that accept your fID have their own terms and are responsible for their own handling of your data within the scope you grant.

10 Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is." Some features are clearly marked as in development or sandbox. To the extent permitted by law, FIDNT is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

11 Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without prejudice to your statutory data-subject rights.
